Come and be inspired by many fine instructors who will help you learn how to research, plan, and construct fine and wonderous raiment! Don't know what time period interests you most? Explore the fashions of many places and times. Don't know how to sew? We will have a class for that! Even if you aren't interested in sewing, you can learn more about historical clothing and possibly even connect with someone who can help you achieve the sort of clothing you are interested in wearing.

The class format will remain the same as previous years. Instructors may sign up to teach a maximum of two classes. Classes may be one or two hours in length. Classes will begin at 9am. We will have a lunch break at noon. The Walk Through History will start at 1pm, and afternoon classes will begin at 2pm. Court will be at Their Majesties' pleasure.

This year's Walk Through History will be dedicated to the memory of the late Master Sashatec, and will feature clothing he created (but all are welcome to participate, as usual). If you are fortunate enough to have clothing made by him, please consider either signing up for the Walk Through History, or bringing your clothing to display in his honor. Anyone wishing to display clothing please contact Her Excellency Gyda Glora in advance at .

Arts and Sciences competition for Clothier's Seminar is Foundation Garments. Big or small, the items we occasionally get a glimpse of, but they take our garb from just an outer appearance of the Middle Ages to WOW! I AM IN THE MIDDLE AGES NOW! So let's see all your chemises, stockings, hose, garters, and other unmentionables!

Fighters, here's your chance to shine, as well - whatcha wearin' under that gorgeous armor. A gambeson that you carefully made of period fabrics, fitted to you like a glove, perhaps using a period method? How about your cap? That goes under your helm, does it not? It counts! Documentation should at least a 3x5 card with a run down of the basic facts (what is is, when it is from, where it is from, how it was made, and with what, etc.). More extensive documentation is welcome, though.

Site will open at 8am and close at 7pm. Site fees: Adults 18 and over: $10. Non-member surcharge: $5. Youths 12-17: $5. Children under 12: Free. Make checks payable to: SCA Inc., Shire of Cúm an Iolair.

A lunch inn will be available on site. Click Here for the Inn menu. All instructors will receive a complimentary lunch from the inn. A list of nearby fast food and full-service restaurants will also be available.
